As a SmartTrade member, you can earn points for every dollar you spend with our extensive network of industry-leading suppliers. Our partners span a wide range of business sectors, ensuring that no matter what industry you are in, there is a supplier you can earn points from.

Setting up an account with a programme partner is easy – select who you want to earn from via our Business Directory, or contact the supplier directly and let them know you want to open an account and earn SmartTrade points. Once your trade account has been set up and connected to SmartTrade, you’ll earn points for every dollar you spend from that supplier, provided your account is paid current.

You can earn from multiple partners, and points will all be pooled into one account for you to redeem for almost anything you want.

Points+Pay

Points+Pay is a flexible payment option that allows you to use a combination of points and cash to get your rewards even faster. If you don’t have enough points, you can still get the rewards you want, right now, using Points+Pay.

How it works:

  1. Find the reward you want on the Rewards Shop
  2. Add the item to your cart
  3. When you get to the checkout you will prompted to top up. Mastercard, Visa credit card and valid debit cards are accepted.

With the SmartTrade app, you can keep track of your points balance, redeem rewards, get the latest news, offers, promotions and more.

Visit the SmartTrade Business Directory, select who you want to earn points from and submit your details. Alternatively, you can email info@smart-trade.co.nz or call 0800 99 76278.

If you already have an account with a programme partner, let us know your account number and we’ll take it from there. If not, you can contact them directly and let them know you want to open an account and earn SmartTrade reward points.

There are no membership fees. Signing up is free and easy.

You can earn reward points on a wide range of products – building supplies, fuel, hire equipment, electricity, office products, crane hire and so much more! There are over 300 programme partners (suppliers) offering SmartTrade reward points.

There is no limit on the number of partners you can earn points from – the more you are connected with the faster your points balance will grow and the more rewards you can get!

You can view your points balance and transaction history by logging into your SmartTrade app or into the online Rewards Shop.

You will also receive regular email updates that include your points balance, rewards, the latest offers and more.

You can redeem anytime on the Rewards Shop or via your SmartTrade app. Simply log in with your email address and password to make a redemption. If you don’t know your password, give us a call and we can reset it for you.

The app is the easiest way to check your points, redeem rewards, keep up to date with the latest news, enter competitions, receive the hottest deals and more.

To download the app, visit the Google Play or App Store and search ‘My Rewards by Smart Loyalty’. Login using your email address and click ‘reset password’ to be emailed a link to finalise set up.

Yes! You can use a combination of points and cash with our Points+Pay payment option. You will be prompted to top up at the checkout. Mastercard, Visa credit card and valid debit cards are accepted.

Points risk expiry three years after the date they were issued. We will advise you of your points that risk expiry via your SmartTrade email updates and redemption emails, so be sure to check your inbox.

You will be given 90 days to spend your points before your account is closed down.
