Deep red in colour with a blue edge. On the nose there is even a hint of sherry aged maltiness or perhaps pipe tobacco. On the palate fruit notes of preserved plum and raspberry jam reflect the cepage. There is also a generosity suggestive of chocolate and brioche. With its inky youthful intensity, this wine is certain to continue its evolution in the bottle over the coming years.
